Welcome to our group of stakeholders and interested citizens. Our community’s critical aviation assets are being threatened and we are banding together to stop this happening.

Runway 10/28 is being converted into a taxiway and indications are that the council and operator are trying to avoid building a new taxiway that is parallel to runway 10/28. There is a master plan for the airport that has been through an extensive deelopment and review process by numerous experts over many years and it was last ratified by the council in 2019. There is nothing contained in the masterplan about taking our critical crosswind runway away from us.

We are seeking a rock solid comittment from the council and operator that they build the new taxiway and maintain the safety of our airport for all users.

Thanks for your support.

Airport Master Plan

In January 2019, Coffs Harbour City Council (CHCC) commissioned Airport Planning Support (APS) to prepare a Master Plan Update for Coffs Harbour Airport.  This update builds on a range of earlier planning initiatives and documents, augmented where changes have occurred, or where new information has become available. Additionally, new air traffic forecasts have been prepared by Tourism Futures International (TFI).
